How to install Chrome extensions on Opera browser
Until now, the lack of extension support was one of the major reasons that deterred users from installing the Opera browser. However, with the recent changes introduced things are likely to change for good. So, let’s see how to install Chrome browser extensions on Opera browser. So, it doesn’t matter if you’ve set the Opera browser as your default browser or use it as a second browser. You can install any Chrome extension with ease.
To install extensions from the Google Chrome Store into Opera, you must first download and install the Install Chrome Extensions addon from the Opera Addons Store. Note – By adding this extension to your Opera browser, you can install extensions only. Themes are not supported. Once installed, just open the Google Chrome Web Store in a new tab inside your Opera browser. For example, type Google Translate in the search bar to go to its download page.
There, next to the extension name you should see an Add to Opera button. Upon clicking this button, the extension should be installed in your browser.
If prompted with a message, ignore it and proceed further. Following the installation, you can manage other aspects of your extensions. Hope it helps!
